Extra Devices Hide this device (blacklist)
Hiding a USB device works only when I plug in the device after login. When having the device already plugged in during boot the device will be connected to jack. This seems to be a regression, as this feature was working previously.
I am running Ubuntu 21.10 Gnome 3 (40.4.0)
I think but I am not sure, this is a problem with how the GUI sees things and how the background process sees things. I notice that when I plug a USB device in and the background process bridges it to jack it is called one thing (usb2 in this case) but in the GUI the only USB device plugged in is USB3. So the the GUI sees the same device as a different device than the back ground. Does this seen to be the case for you as well? Can you compare the USB number when plugged in between GUI and Carla?
I think this is solved in version 2.3.3
