It doesn't really matter which bootstrap node you're using, I guess. Just try some TCP 443 nodes from https://nodes.tox.chat.

I'm not sure whether that justifies to keep it in toxcore. Additionally, the probably most used service toxme.io only supports HTTPS lookups anymore. It's the client's job.

I do not really understand AppImage, is not it just a statically linked binary? Why call it "AppImage" then?
