Issue: RedocPro is not defined (reported 2024‑12‑23)

What happened

Older iDoc templates referenced a legacy Redoc CDN and initialized with redocExport: "RedocPro" / showConsole: true (features that require the Redocly Pro runtime). The legacy CDN path was discontinued, so the global window.RedocPro no longer loads. The page then throws RedocPro is not defined and the docs fail to render.

Impact

Docs that hadn’t changed started breaking around late December 2024 with a browser error and a blank docs page.

The fix (v2.0.0)

We released iDoc v2.0.0, which:

  • Removes the dependency on the discontinued CDN and the RedocPro global.
  • Uses the supported Redoc OSS bundle for read‑only docs.
  • Adds a slide‑in Swagger UI “Try it” panel for interactive testing (no Redocly Pro required).

This restores functionality and provides feature‑parity “Try it” without Redocly Pro.

How to upgrade (required)

  1. Update the package:
    composer update ovac/idoc
