  • update various Symfony Flex packages to the latest, patching boilerplate files accordingly
  • update Composer to v2 to make Symfony 6 compatibility possible – I don't think this will impact how Wpackagist generates Composer files since the library is only used for version normalisation

This seems to run locally in Docker (CLI and web) but hasn't been tested very thoroughly. I'd recommend doing more full testing on Staging before we consider putting this update live.
