back needs to be used twice to return

pressing back doesn't close the app. I have to use the back gesture twice to do so.

using it once just displays the last image viewed (which I'd already closed with the back gesture before)

Can I have more informations to reproduce the bug please ? (such as ROM used and steps to reproduce).

Google Pixel 7 Pro, Android 13 Stock Rom

Open jxl viewer (views jxl logo) press back/use back gesture open jxl file with viewer press back/use back gesture you see the jxl logo again instead of closing/hiding the viewer

this works with other images than the jxl logo
