Not Enough Memory error (Korg SE-05 editor software)

Talking about a synthesizer editor software from 1996. http://www.jaybmusic.net/Downloads/X5D-Editor.zip When selecting a MIDI input I get "Receive error: Not enough memory". I suspect that this is due to a too high number of reported available RAM. (I remember having read something like that about 16-bit apps ages ago.)
