"Out of memory" when running Freedos's edit.exe

Describe the bug When running Freedos's edit.exe, an "Out of memory" error is displayed. After pressing any key, an error window is displayed. After dismissing it, the app crashes. Expected behavior edit.exe launches normally.

Environment (please complete the following information):

  • OS: Win11 22h2 (build 22621)
  • Version 0.8.1 (latest), I also tried version dev2369 and saw the same issue.
