Describe the bug

Whenever the new features are used (hearing ghosts as imp), upon going into a meeting, every voice becomes distorted and robotic. CTRL R does not reset. The only way to fix is by closing Crewlink and opening it again, which freezes the computer and the game and takes a considerable amount of time to reboot. Once it’s working again, the next meeting will distort everyone’s voice again.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behaviour:

  1. Connect to Among Us lobby and Crewlink.
  2. Check mark the new features in the Crewlink menu.
  3. Start game.
  4. Error will occur in first meeting. Most users in the lobby will hear all voices as distorted. Problem will continue until force close Crewlink.

Expected behaviour

Voices shouldn’t be distorting. It doesn’t happen to everyone in the lobby, but most of us.

I had the same problem, and it seems Crewlink is overloading the CPU for me and my friends, making the voice lagging :/

I've been having this problem almost every time I use proximity. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling crewlink and i get the same problem. Plus, I'm on version 2.0.1.

robotic voices is also caused by having a sample rate over 48k for your audio output; setting it back to 48k fixes the issue i had
