A text box with Chinese and formula can be compiled but exported without formula
demo_zh.ipe.zip I use a text box with Chinese and formula. It can be compiled, but the formula disappears when I export it as an EPS. Please see the attached ipe document.
I cannot reproduce the problem - it works just fine for me.
Which version of Ipe are you using on which platform (Windows, MacOS, Linux)? What is the output you get for Help ➤ Show libraries and for Help ➤ Show configuration?
I am working on macOS Sequoia 15.1, with Ipe 7.2.29. The outputs of help -> show libraries and show configuration are attached. The screenshot and pdf converted from the eps are also attached. The screenshot is OK but in the pdf the formula disappears. I also tried the web version, which produced the same problem.
Very mysterious. I have just tried the web version myself, calling "File" ➤ "Export as EPS", and then downloading the EPS file through the file manager.
It looks just fine (opening with a Postscript viewer):
Are you sure you actually looked at the file exported from the web version? The web version cannot directly write to your computer, after using "Export as EPS", you have to go into "File" ➤ "Manage files" to download the result of the conversion.
Then, how do you look at the EPS file?
