Matplotlib backend problem

Hi,

I am having the issue when I am trying to use the ipe backend for matplotlib. I am on Python 3.11 and matplotlib 3.8.3

ImportError: cannot import name 'maxdict' from 'matplotlib.cbook

Anyone managed to solve it?
