@desert someone need to step up and prepare a proper PR (tested).

I'd branch to dunfell and move master on, so people wishing to use with older release can use with the branch.

Could this be reviewed? We have a customer which requires newer Rust toolchain due the use of 2021 edition. Is it possible to review and merge it?
