you know, at first I had that video in my recommended page of YouTube, and I proceeded to block any suggestions from that channel because of how clickbaity the titles were and how bad the thumbnails were when you had a guy making all sorts of goofy faces without giving any context about the video's content at all. I decided to take a look at it now. The video basically goes about how some newcomers feel a need to outright contribute to projects without ever having used them, and people supposedly believing that contributions are for an easy reward of some kind, f.e. Hacktid, this whole repo is 100% markdown, this is essentially the "code" of the project, the project's structure seems pretty formal and properly stylized, this isn't a spam pull request like the ones people do in Hacktoberfest, it's a simple typo that I just happened to stumble on while using this project. There is absolutely no reward for myself I can think of that I'd be getting out of this simple two liner improvement/fix, my commit graph is not that desperate to harvest random commits to go greener (and frankly, that's just epeen). The comment I left with my PR is very obviously sarcastic, judging by my own ":^)" at the end. I don't see how any of this relates to the video, and honestly, I don't believe it does.
