Ability to filter by Region / BBOX
I would be able to "sell" this to the local OSM Romania community, if we could use the tool to improve the map in our Area.
Local communities prefer to improve the map in their area.
Even if we would want to improve in other parts, we are to little just for our country. Having the possibility to see just what it`s more local would be appealing for different communities
@baditaflorin +1, filtering tasks by region allows local communities to use to-fix to focus on their areas of interest where they have the local knowledge to make a more meaningful contribution.
According to @geohacker it looks like this might involve a bit of rewriting, but is a feature worth having. This would involve two new functions:
- Fetch open issues by bbox, and show nearby issues on the map in addition to active one
- Ability to select nearby issues from the map to make it active, similiar to Strava Errors tool
