If possible, check if description is in local language or not (i.e. English for non-English speaking countries) Tourists or armchair mappers will often accidentally tag description where it should be description:* (i.e. description:en)

Although interesting I fear it would be pretty difficult to reliably detect that something is written in a certain language.
