I feel like "Chafa doesn't work if your system doesn't support the characters" is a given.
That font file has both the Gen 5 dingbats and the Gen 6-7 dingbats so both should work
The font that I am using for showdown has both.
I think the question mark looking letter is supposed to be a question mark
