Is it possible to disable the mentions tab?

I personally never miss a mention, and that special highlighted tab just distracts me :)

Is it possible somehow to disable it?

Not currently possible, but we could implement it.

I'd be happy to merge if anyone wants to submit a PR. Shouldn't be too difficult. We'll need a field in the config file.
