Option to enable timestamps for every message and option for seconds in timestamps

Currently, the same timestamp appears to never be printed twice (which means only one timestamp per minute at best). I would prefer having a timestamp for every message as it would make it easier to see where a message ends and another one starts and it would keep the indentation of names more consistent.

Maybe an option for this could be added to the config file?

It would also be nice to have the option of making timestamp show seconds.

I was just looking into this and discovered the layout config option:

layout: compact (default):

12:00 user: x
user: y
user: z

layout: aligned:

12:00 user: x
      user: y
      user: z
