Reset of Safari removes scripts from list

Open ArtlyThere opened this issue 12 years ago • 3 comments

Reset of Safari (File Menu: Reset Safari) with "Remove Website Data" seems to delete script list info...userscripts.org script no longer listed, has to be reinstalled. Scripts should remain alive and intact when Safari is reset with all options checked?

Am experiencing the same problem.

I didn't click "reset safari" but delete the caches and removed all website-data.

~/Library/Safari/LocalStorage is where it's stored. Copy the ninjakit file and then clean, replace once clean and your good - I also wish there was a backup method built-in to the extension but… for now that is what we have to deal with.

Arrggh I cannot believe this is still the case! I just got my script (which I had modified for personal use) deleted because of this! Why put the data in such a location - other extensions do not do this! I love the extension, but please, fix this behaviour.
