  • Ref. issue https://github.com/orientechnologies/orientdb/issues/7135 where it was discussed about increasing max WAL size from 4GB (default) to 50 GB

  • note that in 3.0 version WAL size is tuned automatically, but not in 2.2.x

  • put WAL on different disk from the disk that includes the db - and set WAL limit size 85% of hdd size

  • etc
