While this is not an issue for newer version of Firefox, I felt it couldn't hurt to add this to cover older versions of Firefox

It would be nice to know what Firefox versions does this affect. Any further details to that particular vulnerability? Just curious here.

Absolutely! Here you can find a lot (too much?) information regarding this

Edit: if you're not up for the digging, seems like it was patched in Firefox 52.0 (released March 7, 2017)
