Created-at property - UI improvements & Active/Inactive timestamp selection

The current UI for automatically adding a creation timestamp to notes is in an obscure (to me) location in the settings (under Sync -> Notebook files -> Use property for created at time). Apparently I'm not the first person to email the author asking how to enable the setting.

  1. can the settings be reorganised so it is more easily findable
  2. make it an option to choose an active or inactive timestamp

For UI, I think it should be under 'Notes & Notebooks' near States, priority, etc

What does this option even mean? I am scared to enable it, because it suggests "updating all your notes".

Thank you for posting this here--a quick search of the documentation turned up nothing as helpful as this.
