STATE coloring
Might be useful to be able to color states. For example here is how I configure Emacs:
;; To color-code task types (color table available with "M-x list-colors-display") (setq org-todo-keyword-faces '( ("TODO" . (:foreground "cadetblue1" :background "dark cyan" :bold t :weight bold)) ("NEXT" . (:foreground "cadetblue1" :background "navy blue" :bold t :weight bold))
("DONE" . (:foreground "gray90" :background "dark olive green" :bold t :weight bold)) ("STARTED" . (:foreground "pink" :background "dark orchid" :bold t :weight bold)) ("WAITING" . (:foreground "LightGoldenrod1" :background "tan3" :bold t :weight bold)) ("FROZEN" . (:foreground "cyan" :background "steelblue" :bold t :weight bold)) ("REFERENCE" . (:foreground "pale green" :background "green4" :bold t :weight bold)) ("CANCELLED" . (:foreground "gray65" :background "gray30" :bold t :weight bold)) ("DELEGATED" . (:foreground "moccasin" :background "navajowhite3" :bold t :weight bold)) ))
getting implemented soon? ;)
I use it too on emacs, and I miss it when I take a look at my tasks in orgzly and can't see my colors associated with each GTD state.
👍
I'm surprised it is not implemented yet.. I was using colored states from like second week of learning orgmode. I thought it would be very requested feature.
(setq org-todo-keywords '((sequence "GOAL(g)" "PROJECT(p)" "TASK(k)" "TODO(t)" "WAITING(w)" "MAYBE(m)" "HABIT(h)" "|" "CANCELLED(c)" "DONE(d)")))
(setq org-todo-keyword-faces
'(("GOAL" . (:foreground "#d41c1c" :weight bold))
("PROJECT" . (:foreground "#e27738" :weight bold))
("TASK" . (:foreground "#4684ff" :weight bold))
("TODO" . (:foreground "#CCCC1A" :weight bold))
("WAITING" . (:foreground "#ad6fd1" :weight bold))
("MAYBE" . (:foreground "#515762" :weight bold))
("HABIT" . (:foreground "#C3C3C3" :weight bold))
("CANCELLED" . (:foreground "#FF0000" :weight bold))
("DONE" . (:foreground "#3FCC20" :weight bold))))
