mathjax

Hi,

I'm wondering if some sort of support for equations through mathjax is planned. Given that katex does not render equation numbers, I think mathjax3 support would make me switch instantaneously to orgajs :D

I am currently working on a katex plugin right now, but we can create a mathjax plugin easily once the core parser understands latex syntax. @smalltimer Do you mean that you are having issues with katex? can you elaborate? Thanks!

@xiaoxinghu Hi, thanks! That sounds very exciting. I use equation numbers in my maths and refer to them using \eqref or \ref etc.. katex does not backlink these tags to the right equation number. So for me (and I guess anyone who wants to number their equations), mathjax is a much better option. Please let me know if you need me to explain more!
