[MINOR] Can we have a scroll bar on the side?

When the org note is relatively long, it would be more convenient to have a scroll bar on the side in preview mode.

Agreed. My workaround is to select the text and drag, which causes a fast scrolling effect and frees me from needing to swipe two fingers again and again on the touchpad. I'm using Chromium on the Sway WM. Some touchpads with inertial scrolling (Mac?) may make this a non-issue, but it's not universal.

A related issue: the scroll position is "sticky". If I scroll down in a big note and then click another note, it'll show that note scrolled way down too. So I have to manually scroll back up to the beginning.

Hmm okay that is definitely not ideal! This might be an OS-specific issue, in both Firefox and Brave I see this (on MacOS) image

What browser/OS are you on? Given the target demographic I'm assuming Linux, in which case which DE/WM are you using?

Me? I'm on Chromium on Sway WM (an i3 spinoff for Wayland) on Guix System. Though it's the same in Firefox.

I found we can get a scrollbar by navigating to chrome://flags and turning on Overlay Scrollbars, but it's a weird scrollbar, you have to scroll a little first to make it visible and then you can drag it.

But not clear why it's needed, it's not like Chromium is missing a scrollbar most of the time, it just chooses not to show one for the ORUI preview.
