[BUG] Empty canvas, nodes not showing up anymore due to discrepancy saved vs. expected settings

Open NovayaFinch opened this issue 3 years ago • 5 comments

Describe the bug org-roam-ui tab suddenly empty. No nodes are showing up even though it worked previously without any issue, restarting emacs, reinstalling org-roam-ui, updating org-roam-ui to the most recent version did not help. I did not change any settings from when it worked without any issue before.

To Reproduce Which specific things did you do which lead to said bug? E.g. what did you click, which commands did you call, etc.

  1. Enable org-roam-ui-mode
  2. wait for the browser to open
  3. tadaa, nothing showing up

Screenshots Console log and the tab itself

What browser were you using? Firefox

Additional information Im using emacs 28.0.9

Same here. The only thing I did was update Doom.

Hey there, small update log: I "solved" it! What did it for me was going into the filter settings on the webpage and resetting the settings to the defaults. I think the button is on the same height as the 2D/3D toggle!

Great to hear that that worked out, I think I know what the issue is, although I thought I fixed that at some point...

Basically the way we handle settings is not set up... great. I'll leave this up so I actually fix it.
