Routine maintenance needed

This repo needs a few things:

• Linting needs to be configured to comply with standard, which should only apply to .js files (not the .jsx);
• The dependencies need to be updated.

This repo may be superseded by https://github.com/orbitdb/example-orbitdb-todomvc-updated. If so, should we archive it?

Is there a chance that the dependencies will be updated in the near future? I tried it by myself but I run in several problems.

@aphelionz may know more about how to update those deps; I'm out of the loop.

@martin-v I'd like to incorporate some functional tests for this and then make deployment of new versions here part of CI if possible. Interested in perhaps helping? Otherwise I'll get around to it in the coming weeks.
