Moving messages in detail-view of email not possible.
If I remember correctly pressing "s" to move that current message worked until lately (last Thunderbird-update or maybe plugin-update to 2.2.3beta). Now nothing happens. I can only use "s" in the list-view.
I don't understand, how would you select the message to be moved if not in the messagelist? I always selected one or more messages in the messagelist, then press s. (which OS?)
Also, s conflicts with TB's star, that seems to be new. I think in parts of the window, star overrides s. Maybe set to a key not in use by TB. I cannot propose any, they are localised.
I meant in the detail-view of a message - well, opening that message - which for me opens in a separate window. Afaik in the past you could also move a message there.
ah. That did work in 78 at one point in time but I haven't tested it for a long time. So will need to look at that.

ok, first step: I can confirm this. Will be cured in due time, Klaus
I have my TB configured to open a message in a new tab, not a new window. Nostalgy++ "s" does work when reading an opened message in a tab. When I open a message in a new window, "s" is the TB "star" command, not the Nostalgy++ move command, confirming Neufeind's statements.
had a short look at it. Defining new key-letters (v instead of s) does not help. So more investigation is needed. In principle, the folder logic is loaded into the message window but just not working
@opto ,
I was looking for an existing issue with the s
key mapping collision and this seems to be the closest. This revealed itself to me on update of nostalgy++ to 2.3.1 today.
Should I make a new issue on this or is this all the same and should be recorded here?
this https://github.com/opto/nostalgy-xpi/releases/tag/v3.2.0 works here if a message is opened in a window. Thanks for testing,
Klaus
