4.1.2 's' not working always - TB115.4.1
On an open mail in new window, when, after just reading, I press "s", I can select the destination folder and after pressing enter the email si actually moved But if I execute any action (like clicking "reply button") I still be able to select the destination folder, but pressing Enter do nothing. If I close the mail window and open again the message, "s" work as expected
Have anybody the same issue? Have been anybody capable of reproduce it?
if you put the focus (mouse click) back again into the folderbox, what happens then?
I've tried, and if I click in the folder pane and back on the message window (opened in a separated window), then the moving works
I have just upgraded to TB 115.6.0 and Nostalgy 4.1.2 has been installed (on a windows 10 system) : all the basic functions (S,G,B,shiftS,shiftG,shiftB, altG) seem to work seemlessly (but I'm not using any of the folder modes, or different tabs). I'm on a French windows 10 system, with a German keyboard layout :-) For some reason "S" does not do the Star but is working well to move emails in this set-up. Which actually is strange, as also in the French TB version, S is the keyboard shortcut for following messages (Star, which would be "étoile" , thus E in French). On my system, Nostalgy seems to be overriding this :-) Thanks very much @opto for all this work.
I'm on the last (as of today) TB 115.7.0 (64-bit) on MacOS and the reported issue above is still there. I've also reported it earlier here in Nov 8th, 23.
So far, as soon as I'm not in the folder containing the email (for instance, in a conversation window, or in the result of a search, etc), all actions of Nostalgy++ cease to work. I can still select the folder, but once selected, nothing happens. This reduces a lot the efficiency of Nostalgy++ as I'm using these derivative windows all the time. I hope this bug is solvable in a near future.
I have tested under Windows 11 and TB 115.6.1 as well as 115.7.0 : S and B and G are all three working, even when quick filter is used or when there is a filtering on tags active. What however is not working is the suggestions field (ans thus SHIFT+S etc are not working), see here
Thanks. All shortcuts are also working for me, also with quick filter tags. No issue for me there. My problem and I guess the initial one at the top is in extra windows (global search, discussions, ...), not in filtered views. In these, all is working but the final moving/saving email action.
