As @opto now explained this fork uses the MPL dual licensing option from the original (see #51)

This makes things complicated. Actually alread @wangvisual did not fullfill the MPL Licence terms because the licence was never included. Also there were tons of other files in the repo that @wangvisual did not mark MPL but rather placed a GPL 3 into the repo.

One could think (as I did), that the copy-left was in place as the whole work is clearly derivative.

I also saw that new code was added under CC-BY-ND 4.0 (i.e. non-FOSS).

This makes it even more pressing to clarify the licence terms. (I guess, that the whole thing is CC-BY-ND, i.e. not open source atm but with parts still being available on MPL and GPL terms)

well, what is old is the old licence. That cannot and will not be changed and will also be valid for all bug fixes and improvements in those code files.. So you are welcome to contribute there, if the other stuff is unliked.

The new stuff is open for everybody for personal use and personal changes. At the moment, I just don't want an official xxx-addon-improved to be distributed or uploaded to ATN - just because I might be a bit too slow to update for 102 or 114 etc.

There was really very much work involved in converting to 78/91/102, please do not underestimate that. And just working/understanding on filters/QuickfilterBarMuxer for some improvements, in the now undocumented TB source code, has taken ca. 2.5 unpaid full working days (a querybuilder and some more sophisticated filtering is to come out of this). So these changes and addendums are really time consuming ...

I guess, it is somewhat in the middle: the new stuff is readable, not really propriatary, not obfuscated, useable. And: everybody can check the source code for good or harmfull stuff.
