Please describe the issue.
I am using DLSS in game settings and the game is crashing when switching to FSR4 both via its .ini file and via the imgui.
On an unrelated note, the imgui fails to show if OverlayMenu is not set to false and/or triple buffer ingame setting isn't off, but it's really hard to read its content as it appears brownish in color and very transparent.
####How to reproduce:
- Start game;
- Set triple buffer off and DLSS on;
- Load save open gui;
- Set upscaling method to FSR4 and load it.
P.S. 10.23 is the latest working protonGE build, 10.24 breaks rockstar launcher. Yes, PROTON_FSR4_UPGRADE=1 is set
Same issue here on Windows. Also Optipatcher and 9070XT so its probably not a linux issue.
Tried it on Optiscaler 0.9 and still the same
update: on optiscaler 0.9.0-pre5+bundled fakenvapi (don't know what ver.)+aforementioned optipatcher and asiloader, on proton ge 10.24 fsr4 works but imgui's still broken the same as the screenshot above. it only works with OverlayMenu=false in the ini file set and it looks transparent
@hikagura99 could you try setting UseHQFont=false in OptiScaler.ini?
Same issue here on Linux/9070XT.
With OverlayMenu=false and UseHQFont=false.
The Optiscaler menu seems to be altered by in-game menu as "pause menu" come in front of OptiscalerGui.
The ui seems to be affected by ambiant lightning:
Game seem to crash during some cinematic but can be passed.
Here is a log from a fix crashe that occur during the cinematic were you put a dynamite in a poo stack during the Emmet Granger quest. I can confirm that this occurs if using optiscaler (FSR3.1 and 4) and doesn't occur vanilla.
That log is completely useless (70 lines and all are from init). Also you're not using OptiPatcher which is sorely needed to fix some of these crashes as written in the Wiki, since this game doesn't play well with Spoofing due to spaghetti code.
My mistake, after applying the patch I was unable to reproduce the crash where I had previously seen it. However, the UI is still subject to changes in the game's brightness.
