When using multiple displays, the dock gets stuck open when dragging windows from one monitor to another.
Description
Like the title says, the dock will open and stay open when moving an application from one monitor to the other.
A related issue is when a window is unmaximized(is that a word?) on the secondary display, the dock will get stuck as well.
Work arounds
There are two quick fixes i've found, depending on which direction the apps are being moved:
- When moving from the primary monitor to the secondary, the dock can be closed by clicking back on the primary display, then opening and closing the activities overview.
- when moving from the secondary monitor to the primary, a window must be maximized before the dock will close. note: it doesn't necessarily have to be the window that was just moved. it seems to be triggered when any window is maximized. A window can also be minimized then maximized to close the dock
