Any idea what might be the problem?
Thanks a lot, Sarah
Hi Sarah,
Maybe your Windows 7 is too old for the pyFFT package. I made a special version for you (version 2.0.6.1) in which the installation of pyFFT is tested.
If there is no pyFFT package installed it uses the fft which should be included in the numpy package.
Attached is a socalled 'wheel': LightPipes-2.0.6.1-py3-none-any.whl
Normally pip downloads and installs from PyPi, but one could also pip install from a local wheel.
So please do in a terminal: pip install LightPipes-2.0.6.1-py3-none-any.whl
Let me know if this works on your pc.
Regards from,
Fred van Goor.
I struggled like a whole day before what solved it for me: pyfftw should be installed with python 3.6 and not 3.8 and with 64 bit python and 64 bit library version.
