bootsrap script blocks ssh access to ec2 instance

I launched an ec2 (t3-micro with 30gb SSD) instance with freebsd (14.3 ZFS - I also tried UFS) and downloaded the bootsrap script from github. I executed the script just fine, but when it finishes the installation and disconnects from the instance I just can't connect back through SSH. It times out every time i try to connect to it again. Has someone ever faced the same issue?
