Scaling up on Environments

Myself and a colleague have been evaluating Zrok and OpenZiti. With have found it great and easy to use.

The one area I am concerned with is the Explorer view of the web dashboard, it will not scale well when you have many environments connected to it. The more you have, the harder it is to find in the view, plus every time there is a change to the tree, it can sometimes redraw the whole tree and move things around. My use case is that I need the Access Token of the endpoint I am going to connect to, and I am likely to have 100's of environments in the future.

I think there are several solutions to this:

A search facility, to enable you to locate a specific environment within the Explorer view

In the screen where all the environments are listed, make it possible to access the end points by clicking on the environment name to get a list of them, and then to click on the one you want to bring up its details. This could also have a search or filter for the list of environments. Another approach I have seen used, is to be able to add custom labels to each environment, which can be searched or filtered on.
