Please have Kris drop an email at [email protected] to confirm he's giving us permission to scrape his content for offline viewing.

Since he's asking for people to help him via Patreon I doubt he'll accept, but I'll happily reopen the issue once we get clearance.

Good to go per https://kiwix.freshdesk.com/a/tickets/88038

Tried creating a first recipe based off the c tutorials

https://farm.openzim.org/recipes/chris-occhipinti_ctutorials_en/edit

but the zim farm would not let me save it. I got the following error message

Input values failed constraint validation
Format: extra inputs are not permitted

The weird part is that I simply copied an existing Canadian prepper recipe, which is also giving out weird warnings upon loading but seems to be running fine.

Some existing recipe are wrong (e.g. https://farm.openzim.org/recipes/canadian_prepper_bugoutroll_en has a bad name).

You should prefer to clone a good recipe than a one with errors. Even if ultimately we should not have recipe with errors, but fixing them means we have to move the ZIM name ... with is painful without the CMS.

The error you've screenshot about format field is not normal. I'll fix it. Other error should be fixable (mainly bad name).

Ah, I can't seem to be able to delete this particular recipe that I created (wanted to restart from scratch by copying another one).

For now only admins can delete recipes, you do not have sufficient permissions. Editors can only archive the recipes, since in general there is no good reason to delete permanently a recipe.

This situation makes no exception, you should pretty easily be able to fix the recipe to make it work, there is not point in deleting it. Just fix the name and everything will be fine. Or copy/paste setting from another working recipe, but this makes no sense.
