The problem here is the navbox is present in DOM, but because of this style :

.content .navbox{
 display: none! important
}

it is getting hidden. I am still trying to figure out why this style was written and it is likely to be used elsewhere so changing it would impact things. Are there other cases for which the navbox doesn't shows up, or we have this one case only?

The problem seems clearly, that mobile upstream does not seems to deliver it (or hide it).
