Fast dedup should support migrating from old dedup

Describe the feature would like to see added to OpenZFS

Right now, if you have ever used "classic" dedup (which I'm going to refer to as DDT here) on your pool, there is no migration path to fast dedup ("FDT").

That sucks for anyone who used the feature already, who, shockingly, are probably going to be the people who want to use the new feature.

How will this feature improve OpenZFS?

We can try to convince users that we don't think "tough shit you should buy a second setup to use our new feature" is a good support story.

I support the feature request but not the condescentig attitude it was brought forward with.

Condescending to who?

It was sarcastic, because "people already using the feature are going to be a big demographic for the improved version" seemed like a pretty straightforward conclusion, and a lot of user questions in ZFS get responses of "can't be done, remake the pool", so seeing another thing added which required that seemed problematic.

But I don't really understand who it's supposed to be condescending to.
