EDIT: it works after a shutdown.

It fails with error below after a simple reboot: on a mir3g I get:

Sorry, but firmware updates must be signed-off by mediatek to comply to the linux-firmware license. It might be worth asking on the [email protected] for a firmware update to a newer version if it fixes bugs.
