Feature request: luci-mod-network - making RADIUS more accessible?
What would you like to see in luci?
I'm wondering looking at how radius is configured currently via luci whether it makes sense to pull out the radius config into a separate tab (I'd suggest calling it "access control", but "radius" could work). This would allow for clearer messaging when radius will be used (or when it's not available), make it easier to add future support for multiple fallback servers, and hint that radius is an option without it being in people's faces (and so replace the hiding of the options currently which can be a bit confusing.
If this is something that would be accepted, I can have a go at implementing this.
You can undertake such an effort, nobody is stopping you, but it was a conscious design choice that RADIUS attributes necessary/available are immediately visible based on current selections without having to click through to an additional area. The effect of a users actions being immediately visible, i.e. the principle of visibility.
