How to install this on newer operating system (Debian 7/8)

Hello Guys,

i`ve tried a lot to run the OpenWISP-Manager on a actually Operating system(Debian 7/8) its impossible for me, to run the ruby in version 1.8 with the gems of OpenWISP-Manger. I think nowadays its very important to run on updated systems, and not be forced to downgrade a Systems by knowing these bugs, to run OpenWisp. Does Anybody has riched to run this on an updated System or has some advice for me ?

Same here, can't even run it on debian 6 ....
