What problem does this feature solve?

The current instruction on the package page is not obvious that by using that command line, the latest tag will be installed.

As a package author, I want the users to always install the latest stable version by default, instead of the latest tag (which might be a preview version). And users should make a conscious decision to install preview versions.

How should this be implemented in your opinion?

The page should display the command to install stable versions on top of the command to install the latest version and make its effect obvious to the users.
