Wikibase entity suggestions are case and diacritic sensitive

If you go to a data item and click on “add statement”, you can type in “comb” and a dropdown menu will appear, suggesting combination (P46). But if you search for “Comb”, you get “No match was found”.

Similarly, you have to get the diacritics just right or there won’t be any match:

This case and diacritic sensitivity can really get in the way of editing data items in some languages. By contrast, Wikidata and other Wikibase instances I’ve used seem to configure this same functionality to be case and diacritic insensitive.
