Go to Your Home Location gone sometimes

Now click https://www.openstreetmap.org/traces and click your head in the upper right. Notice Go to Your Home Location is gone.
I see, if there is no map below, that entry disappears.
I have an idea. Keep the entry there, and if clicked just plunk the user down on the map the same way if he did the two steps of first going to the home page, and then clicking the menu item.
I mean "Edit" is still there on the Home screen, even though there is no map to edit, so why can't Go to Home Location stay there in the menu?
As you now seem to have figured out that is a map feature so it's only there when the map is visible.
Edit is completely different - that is a mode change that reloads the page. Home location is a client side feature to move the displayed map.
I would assume this topic is answered now, since there was no follow up to the explanation provided.

The question that was answered is "Why Go to home location is missing from non-map pages and why is it not trivial to add it there". But the inconsistency is still present. Possible ways to fix it are:
- Add Go to home location to non-map pages, which could be easier to do along with https://github.com/openstreetmap/openstreetmap-website/issues/670#issuecomment-31867047.
- Decide that Go to home location is strictly map-related, remove it from the dropdown on all pages, and put it somewhere here next to other map tools:
