Duplicate geometry caused by non-transaction-safe upload

Merkaartor version 0.18.3-rc1-3-g93e0b63

Hi, I observed the behaviour that merkaartor checks in the geometry twice, when the user presses the cancel button while uploading dirty objects. For merkaartor the objects are still dirty after cancelling - but in fact they are already uploaded. When uploading again (without cancelling) all nodes are duplicated in OSM. BR Jens

Thanks for reporting. This is a serious problem, but the current upload infrastructure has no idea about transaction handling. I hope I will get to fix it for 0.19.0

Could it be a workaround to remove the cancel button in the upload dialog?

Possibly. However, it's a good idea to have one if you try to upload and your internet connection fails. I will most likely just disable the cancel button once the connection is established.
