Can't move objects - hidden feature

How to reproduce the issue?

For example:

  1. Go to map features Hide all landuse features in the map
  2. While editing, common to find nodes that I can't move. I see the "this can't be edited because it is connected to a hidden feature" message at the bottom of the screen (understandably)
  3. unhide landuse features (under map features again)
  4. still cannot move the node by dragging, even though the previously hidden landuse area is now visible
  5. can get around this by saving a changeset - this frees things up. Alternatively, I recently discovered that I can move the node by right clicking my mouse and using the move item in the drop down menu.

Am assuming this is an unintended feature...?

Screenshot(s) or anything else?

https://www.openstreetmap.org/edit#map=22/56.50672/-6.88858 given as a URL above. When I open this in a separate browser tab, there's an example of a node causing the problem in the centre of the screen. I seem to be able to drag it once, but no more than once. Odd.

You can also reselect the node and it should allow you to move it.

confirming. there is probably an internal cache that needs to be cleared in this situation… 👀
