contact tags
Description
Recently I came across examples where contact:* tags are used instead of older tag: phone -> contact:phone facebook -> contact:facebook website -> contact:website
An example: https://www.openstreetmap.org/way/1026319832/history Search for contact:phone for more examples.
OsmAnd app seems to be able to recognize these contact tags.
Are these preferred tags? If so, can you take ID editor make strong suggestions to use them?
Can you add wiki links to the existing tags, since they seem all valid?

This kind of semantic seems more logical to gather some use case. Here gather contact*=* for contact information.

iD does not necessarily have to nudge users into using contact:phone
over phone
but would it be possible to display contact:phone
with an input field if it is present but phone
is not?
Otherwise for POIs with many tags this tag can easily be overlooked and a phone tag could get created redundantly by accident.
If only one of the two would get the input field at a given time then it would be clear which tag was used for that specific POI.
@The-Nickname this was already implemented with openstreetmap/id-tagging-schema#905 and 559a4ba72855c370e7499248609030b4967045ef. The changes should be available with the next iD release.
