Clicking too quickly after zooming causes the node to be incorrectly placed

How to reproduce the issue?

1. Either zoom in or out
2. Quickly click to place a node
3. See that the node was not placed anywhere close to where you clicked.

Released version at openstreetmap.org/edit (2.21.0 at the time of reporting)

Which browsers are you seeing this problem on?

Vivaldi (not an option in the browsers list, but is Chromium based)
