Background imagery attribution can become invisible on light backgrounds

How to reproduce the issue?
When choosing a background imagery that's a map rather than aerial/satellite imagery, the colour tends to be lighter, however the attribution text is optimised for a dark background.
As such the attribution text can become less legible, and likely exceeds contrast ratios for accessibility.
We should consider adding a background to ensure it's more visible
