AUR is requiring nonexistent dependency
Describe the bug
when using an aur helper(paru in my case) it fails because python-pytest-xfvb does not exist.
Maybe it's referring to python2-pytest-xfvb?
To Reproduce
run yay -S plover and select either plover or plover-git
Expected behavior
Installation of plover
Operating system
- OS: Arch Linux (6.13.2-arch1-1)
- Plover Version AUR package 4.0.0rc2-1 on https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/plover
Hardware
Lenovo Thinkpad Yoga 460, but I don't think it matters.
I tried git clone and changed the dependency name, but didn't work anyway.
It references libraries that don't exist.
I don't have Arch Linux installed on my testing laptop yet so I can't reproduce it myself, sorry.
This question was already asked on the AUR site, sadly no answer.
You could also open an issue in the git repo of the last maintainer, maybe they can help out.
If not, I'll try to install Arch next weeks but that requires some time of course.
Also, I saw that python-pytest-qt has xorg-server-xvfb (check) as a dependency, maybe that's related?
Happy to update/change problematic dependencies in this repo, especially if it's only pytest related. At least we don't have xfvb mentioned in our codebase.
FYI: We released Plover v4.0.0 today so it would be great to update the AUR to that version. It's on my list, albeit not the highest priority.
We'll update a lot of dependencies and simplify the build with Plover v5.0.0 so that will also help with the AUR in the future.
the version on AUR is now build able.
