Add RSS auto-posting to social media

There should be a method via IFTTT using an "RSS to Twitter recipe" We should automate this to do multiple RSS feeds:

• [ ] https://opensourcedesign.net/jobs/feed.xml
• [x] https://opensourcedesign.net/events/feed.xml
• [ ] https://opensourcedesign.net/resources/feed.xml

Additionally, we should add all of these RSS feeds in the <meta> tags of the global site templates so as to be semantic and robust.

@jancborchardt do you know who has access to the IFTTT account?

We have an IFTTT account? I’m not aware of it. ;) If anyone has an IFTTT account we could use it for that also?

@simonv3 @jdittrich any of you is welcome to either contact IFTTT regarding ownership of the »opensourcedesign« account. :) If they don’t reply or it’s taken by someone who doesn’t want to give it away, we could just open »opensrcdesign«.

@simison thanks for that suggestion. I've created an account and linked things up. Seems like the perfect service ;)

However, the Jobs RSS feed is broken and only showing super old postings. So only the Articles and Events feeds are enabled right now.

I will look into this when we do our job board hacking this weekend!

No it would not be easy (given current site structure) to:

Additionally, I think we get more granular control (for things like this case) with separate feeds!

I'm not sure what needs to happen on this issue anymore but also, we should make sure that people that post jobs via our form agree to have them tweeted from our twitter account. Just in case of privacy needs.
